CHRIST-CENTERED
Jesus is Lord of the church, hope to the world, and Savior of us all. We unapologetically proclaim the Gospel of Jesus and place him at the center of our lives and our congregation (Romans 1:16). We are led and taught by God’s Word found in the Holy Scriptures which is the source of all we believe and confess. AUTHENTIC BIBLICAL WORSHIP
We worship God who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and we gather together to give thanks and praise to God (1 Chronicles 16:23-31) as we receive His gracious gifts of Word and Sacrament. We believe that the Bible is His true Word; therefore, our worship and preaching is deeply rooted in the Holy Scriptures. SENSE OF FAMILY
We value strong families and believe that God desires us to invest time into the relationships with our spouses and children. We also value the greater church family of which we are a part. As adopted sons and daughters of our heavenly Father (2 Corinthians 6:18), we value our brothers and sisters in Christ and seek to strengthen those relationships. LIFE-CHANGING DISCIPLESHIP
The Lord Jesus calls us to make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20) through baptizing and teaching. We believe that it is vital that all people who come to saving faith in Jesus are in an intimate relationship with Him. This transformation begins in baptism and continues in the study of God’s Word where we gain a deeper love for Him and are motivated to share His love and follow His example. Faithful Stewards
Everything we have is a gift from God (Psalm 24:1). All that we have and all that we are belong to God. We believe that God calls us to be faithful and generous in the management of our time, money, resources, and talents (2 Corinthians 9:6-8). Community Outreach
We value our community of Hubbard Lake and the surrounding area and recognize that there are many people who are in need. We believe that God calls us to love and serve those in our community (Luke 10:25-37; Matthew 25:31-40), and we seek to be a place of refuge. CONNECTING LOST PEOPLE TO JESUS
All people are in need of God’s grace and forgiveness found in Jesus. Everyone matters to God and therefore those without Jesus matter to us (Luke 19:10). We value intentionally building relationships with them in order to share the good news of salvation and to connect them to Jesus. |
