We know that meeting someone for the first time can be uncomfortable for some people and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at St. Paul an awesome one!
St. Paul Lutheran Church is located at 6891 Nicholson Hill Road, Hubbard Lake, MI 49747 (directions).
Feel free to check us out in-person or online on Sundays at 9:30AM or on-demand anytime.

At St. Paul Hubbard Lake you will encounter real people. Hurting people. Broken people. We are flawed people seeking forgiveness that only Jesus can give. That is why we gather together! To receive His gifts, to grow in our relationship with Jesus and each other, and to go out into the world equipped to share the love of Jesus with others.

What to expect during worship?
- Worship lasts about 60 to 75 minutes.
- You will find people in suits, jeans, dresses and t-shirts. Dress how you are comfortable and come as you are!
- Expect to feel welcomed but not singled out. We won't ask you to stand up, wear a name tag or anything else that will make you feel awkward.
- Our hymns and order of worship are available on the worship screens or you can grab a bulletin and follow along that way.
- At the entrance to the worship center you will find an offering plate. This is an opportunity for our faith family to give thanks to God for His blessings. You may give an offering if you wish, but you are not expected to do so.
- Everything in the worship points us to Jesus and His gifts.
- The sermon is taught directly from the Bible.
- If you are comfortable, feel free to take the next step and fill out the connection card on SPHL.INFO (under construction) telling us that you worshiped with us.

Have questions or need assistance?
- Our worship center is equipped with an assistive listening system for the hearing impaired. To utilize this system, simply change your hearing aid to “T” (telephone) or request assistance from an elder/usher if you are in need of a listening receiver.
- If you have any questions or need assistance with anything, speak with an usher or elder. These individuals will be wearing a name badge.
What about my kids?
Children are always welcome at St. Paul and we want them to have a blast while they are here, so we make this a priority!
PARENTS:
We understand that God put the wiggles in children, so we don't want you to feel like you have to suppress those wiggles in God's house.
- Each week, a children's message is led by Pastor Joe during worship. Children of all ages are encouraged to come up and participant.
- Following Pastor's message, all children ages 3-12 are invited to attend Sunday school. Parents are always welcomed to attend Sunday school with their children if they wish.
- Sunday school classes are separated into two different age groups. Ages 3-7 meet in the first classroom on the left down the main hallway. Ages 8-12 meet in the first classroom on the right. A small snack is provided during this time.
- If there is anything you want us to know about your child, or any special accommodations we need to make, please speak with Pastor Joe or an usher.

"I moved up to our place on Hubbard Lake about two years ago, and while I was looking for a place to worship, I came across St Paul. After just one service I knew this was the place God had led me too. The congregation was so friendly and welcomed me with open arms."
