GODWe believe there is only one, true God who has revealed Himself to us through the Bible. We believe that God is three distinct persons--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit--but there is only one God. Sounds confusing? It's a mystery! While God can be difficult to understand, He tells us about He who is and what He does in His Word. We believe that God created the world and everyone in it and still provides for his creation. The Bible Project's video "God" helps unpack the Scriptures and answer some additional questions.

JESUS
We believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh come to save the world from sin. Our sin has separated us from the Father, and the Son comes to reconcile us with Him by shedding his blood and dying on the cross. Jesus, who is true God and true man, offered His life as a perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world and He rose from dead for our salvation. We believe that Jesus is our crucified and risen Savior, and through Him, we receive forgiveness of sins, eternal life, and salvation. We can do nothing! We only receive these gifts by grace through faith in Christ.
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the presence of God among us. On our own, we cannot believe in Jesus, but the Holy Spirit creates and sustains our faith. We believe that the Spirit lives in us and empowers us to be followers of Jesus. We believe that the Holy Spirit gives gifts to all followers of Jesus enabling them to love and serve God by loving and serving His Church and those around them.
SIN
As the Bible tells us, Adam and Eve disobeyed God and fell into sin separating all of humanity from God. We, therefore, are by nature rebellious sinners. A result of that sin is death. As blind, dead, enemies of God, we would be lost forever if not for Jesus. The Good News of Jesus Christ proclaims that forgiveness from sin and salvation from death is a reality. We believe that God sent Jesus not to condemn us, but to save us – to deal with the problem of sin on our behalf. The Bible Project's video "sin" explores this truth of the human condition.
THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is God's Word and the way in which God speaks to us today; therefore, everything we believe comes from the Bible. In God's inspired Word we hear the truth of sin and death, and the Good News of God's love, grace and hope found in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible is completely reliable and without error. As our authority for life and faith, we receive all we need to know about God and his mission to make disciples.
BAPTISM
We believe that Baptism is a means by which God's distributes His grace to people. By water and His Word God welcomes all people (including infants and children) into his family, creates faith, gives them new life and forgives their sins. In Baptism, God claims us as His own marking us as His forgiven sons and daughters.
COMMUNION
We believe Communion is another way God delivers His grace to people. In the Lord's Supper, our risen Savior gives His true body and blood and is truly present in, with, and under the bread and wine for the forgiveness of our sins and the strengthening of our faith. Communion is a celebration of a unity and oneness not only with Christ but also within the community of believers.
